Back to Surgery

  • Every day, 70,000 puppies and kittens are born in the United States.. Consequently, every year, 4 to 6 million animals are euthanized because there are no homes for them.

  • It can increase your pet's life expectancy

  • By Spaying a female, you greatly reduce the chance of uterine, ovarian, and breast cancer.

  • By neutering a male, you greatly reduce the possibility of prostate cancer.

  • A spayed or neutered pet is usually more affectionate, and is less likely to get into fights, or run away.

What is the difference if you spay or neuter your pet at our clinic than somewhere else?

At the Baker Veterinary Clinic, we have state-of-the-art monitoring supplies that allow us to monitor your pet's heart rate, blood pressure, respirations, and more throughout the surgery. With this high tech, yet expensive equipment that you won't find everywhere, we can catch problems early that could be fatal if not treated. We have excellent veterinarians and well-trained technicians with years of experience. Also, all equipment is sterilized for each surgery. We do everything we can to make sure that the surgery goes well at the Baker Veterinary Clinic.
